Hernia Supports — Helping you reactivate your life
Whether living with a hernia or recovering from surgery, these high-quality medically approved supports elevate comfort and aid recovery to help you get back to the things that matter in life.
Why Should You Use Hernia Supports?
-
Relieve Symptoms, Improve Comfort
Hernia discomfort comes from a hernia protruding through your abdominal wall. A pushed in hernia doesn't cause symptoms.
Hernia supports help by keeping the hernia in. Worn before surgery, they relieve discomfort and provide support during phyiscal activity. -
Quicker Recovery and Better Long-term Results
After surgery, hernia supports reduce early pain and swelling, and aid wound healing and scar tissue formation.
They also make it easier to move sooner, with less discomfort and less need for pain relief — leading to better outcomes. -
Patient and Medical-Expert Recommended
Past patients have tested our supports and found them helpful to their recovery, both before and after surgery.
They are trusted by our medical team and recommended by our patients who completed our 2023/2024 Clinical Outcomes Survey.

Size chart
It is essential to get the right size and to have an up-to-date measurement (in cm.).
The better the fit, the more comfortable the hernia supports are and the better they work.
PLEASE NOTE there are 3 separate size charts below: Male briefs, Female pants, and Unisex Abdominal Wrap. Please ensure you use the correct size chart.
Hernia Pants/Briefs
You will need an accurate measurement of your pelvis circumference in cm. This measurement is taken at the widest point around your hips/buttock area.
Try buying a size SMALLER if at the border of 2 sizes rather than a size larger.
This is a video of how and where to make the measurement.

FEMALE PANTS Sizing Chart, measurements are in cm.

Abdominal Wrap
Measure at the widest part of the abdominal wall as these sizes are circumference. Product is 27cm high. Please ensure this measurement is taken with the hernia reduced holding your stomach so that your core is activated.

What Types of Hernia Supports Are There?
-
Hernia Pants
Hernia pants give firm, comfortable support for groin hernias like inguinal or femoral hernias. They look like Lycra boxers.
They are worn with the included pad before surgery and for the first 48 hours post-surgery. Then, they are worn without the pad from day 3 post-surgery. -
Abdominal Wrap/Belt
Abdominal wall supports help manage umbilical, ventral, and most incisional hernias. They look like a tall belt or wrap that goes around your abdomen.
Both types of supports help keep your hernia reduced before surgery and reduce the need for pain relief and ease movement after surgery, leading to better outcomes.

Which Hernia Support Should I Get?
Inguinal/Femoral Hernias
We recommend the pants/briefs, not the belt/wrap. The support garment should cover the hernia repair incision (or hernia lump, if you have not had surgery).
Hernia pants are not trusses and we do not recommend a hernia truss for men or women for post-surgery support.
Umbilical/Paraumbilical/Epigastric
We recommend the belt/wrap, not the pants. The support garment should cover the hernia repair incision (or hernia lump, if you have not had surgery yet).
Spigelian/Incisional
Spigelian and lower abdominal wall incisional hernias can occur in areas supported by both hernia pants and wraps.
For spigelian or incisional hernias in the lower abdominal area, the hernia pants/briefs may cover the incision or hernia better than the abdominal wrap.
Very good quality and fitted perfectly. They helped me with the problem. Thank you
The Hernia pants give support and immediate relief and also stop it 'popping out' so you can carry on without any problem.
After surgery they offer support of the repaired area.
Highly recommend them.
I used the hernia pants pre-op and post-op they were comfortable and provided the support and reassurance I needed. Personally I wore them for the full time frame recommended post-op which is testament to how much they gave me confidence to get on with my life as normal.
I recently purchased two ORIONE HERNIA SUIPPORT PANTS from HCH Recovery Shop which were of good quality & very comfortable, providing the required support when most needed before and after my operation, giving me the confidence to carry out most normal activities. I would add that they were fine when worn over normal briefs if required. I can highly recommend.
A very good product. I wore it for about 3 weeks post op and it provided the support and reassurance to get back to normal life easily.
